”For the past few years, I’ve been pursuing a professional chef career, so I am planning on further advancing it and reaching higher levels of success.”

“When it comes to Lao food I learned many things from my family, but owning a restaurant and garnering a few skills from my elder staff definitely heightened my growth.”

“I make handcrafted sushi and develop my own sauce recipes, so when you try my sushi you’ll experience my personal art and style. I currently own a restaurant in San Diego called Harborside Thai, Lao, & Sushi, where I am the head sushi and kitchen chef.”

“I’ve always been driven to be the best I can with my pursuits while representing my loved ones, city, and Lao people. Starting out I didn’t have any mentors, but my older brother played a huge role in keeping me out of trouble. Because of him I started to pursue dance and we pursued it on a major scale together.“

My main inspiration in life would be Bruce Lee, not only for his work in martial arts but because of his philosophy. I also draw inspiration from athletes such as Tom Brady, Tracy Mcgrady, & Michael Jordan.

“The industry is filled with Whites, Blacks, & Latinx people, but Asians aren’t as represented. Regardless of this challenge, I was still driven to pursue my dreams and accomplish things I never thought I would.”

“With dance, I would’ve told my younger self to keep my body healthy and pliable, while maintaining a better diet. Breaking is the hardest dance form in the world that requires a lot of tension, so staying in the best physical form would’ve prevented a lot of my injuries.”

“Music has given me the opportunity to experience many things that I am forever grateful for.“

“However, moving forward, for the sake of my mental and financial well-being, I will not be as focused on pursuing a music career.“

“If I could give advice to my younger self in regards to music, it would be to not do it for attention. I would tell myself to stop worrying about being famous and to just tell your story, make good music, and have fun.“
